CANINES FOR VETERANS (CFV) – a national program that trains service dogs for our Veterans with service connected disabilities. The program is known as a triple win: rescuing shelter dogs, providing job training skills to Veterans and others and giving our Veterans back a new found independence with the gift of a service dog.

Idaho Horse TherapyIdaho Horse Therapy
We provide individual Equine Assisted Learning free-of-charge to any veteran who is able to get to us. Further, we offer week-long intensive Re-Boot Camps free of charge to veterans, and encourage family attendance on the final (“graduation”) day so that they can learn some of the same skills that their loved ones have been honing through the week to help anchor them once they leave.

We offer a variety of services, mostly free, to help veterans and their families connect with the power of their hearts to build and sustain resilience. The age appropriate energy self-regulation tools, techniques and processes are available for ages 3 and above. They are non-religious and culturally neutral.

Life Adventure Center changes lives thru outdoor adventure. We innovatively combine evidence based theories of experiential education, group dynamics, psychology, meditation, neuro-plasticity, equine assisted learning/psychotherapy, challenge courses and outdoor adventure to build resiliency, communication, team-building and leadership skills.

Our core program is an eight hour research-based marriage skills education class: Active Military Life and Resiliency Skills. What is unique about the program is… It is presented by an experienced, veteran married couple wed two weeks before basic training in 1970 Classes are presented on a real life level and include discussion groups and activities.

World T.E.A.M. Sports has long supported active duty and retired military athletes from across North America, Puerto Rico and Europe. Our past military veteran events include our 1998 Vietnam Challenge, our 2009 Coastal Team Challenge, our Sea to Shining Sea cross-country rides in 2010 and 2012, and our 2014 CanAm Veterans’ Challenge. Annually, more than 100 adaptive military veterans have participated each year in our Face of America ride to Gettysburg since 2010. Our organization creates inspiring, inclusive events for both military and civilian athletes, for those who are disabled and able-bodied.
