About Warriors and Quiet Waters Foundation

Each WQW Fishing Experience (FX) brings qualified post-9/11 combat veterans to southwest Montana for a weeklong program of fly fishing, camaraderie and relaxation in the serene Rocky Mountains. WQW accepts participants who meet placement criteria and are committed to positive change. Participants come from all branches of service, limited to those who have been combat-wounded and/or are currently struggling socially or professionally. WQW provides travel, lodging and meals all at no cost to the warrior. WQW also provides each warrior with fly fishing equipment and professional instruction. The three types of programs are Solo FX, Alumni FX and Couples FX.
