About Telluride Adaptive Sports

Annually, TASP serves more than 100 Service men and women in a variety of year-round programming. We offer (2) all expense paid Adventure Week camps for approximately 15 individuals (each), which we run entirely in house. We offer one winter week and one summer week, which offer an introduction to a variety of seasonal activities. In addition, we work with the Wounded Warrior Project to bring 8 groups of about 15 to Telluride for Project Odyssey trips. TASP raises veteran specific scholarships to bring vets to participate in other camp opportunities such as our Moab Mania, hand-cycling camp, back country hut and ski camps, Grand Canyon raft trips and more. About 25% of our our overall programming is for disabled veterans.

Eligibility

It varies depending on the program and who is funding it. We believe that all veterans with disabilities should have the opportunity to participate in our programs, although some donors specify that their funds support recently injured soldiers (post September, 11).
