About Sew Much Comfort
SMC provides FREE (zero cost) adaptive clothing (velcro closures) that fits over wounds, casts and prosthetics for injured service members from all branches of the Military. Since SMC’s founding in November 2004, we have distributed to military hospitals, more than 141,846 pieces of adaptive clothing made by our volunteer seamstresses. It is our mission to give our Military Veterans, as much dignity, comfort and independence as possible as they recuperate from their injuries either in a military hospital or at home.
Sew Much Comfort is the only organization providing FREE adaptive clothing to wounded service members. We rely on, and greatly value the generosity and support of our volunteers so that we can continue to provide adaptive clothing and comfort accessories FREE of charge to our injured returning from current conflicts, even if they are retired.
EligibilityTo receive Free adaptive clothing you have to be Military either current or retired.
